During socialist years in Romania, history classes taught students about such illegalist actions before 1945 — narratives of communists launching and distributing manifestos clandestinely. Later, under communism, one way to criticize or resist the system was to distribute or throw manifestos. We decided to interrogate this act in the context of capitalism, performing the gesture within the utopian architecture of the Alt-Erlaa complex in Vienna. index
