This quote from Johann Wolfgang von Goethe existed for more than 30 years in the Dr. Grozovici medical center in Bucharest. Since 1979 when the building was constructed the political sistem changed but the place remained almost unchanged, the text stayed there like a silent witness of our time. Goethe's text "Nothing is worth more than this day" is slightly different from the romanian translation which does not contain anymore the verb making the words more poetic and abstract for someone (from the hundreds of people passing by there everyday) who has time to read it.
