Manifests
consisting in empty sheets of paper were launched in an action in Alt-Erlaa
Vienna as a simple gesture questioning the meaning of resistance. Everyone
in Romania, in communist years was taught at school in the history classes
about these kinds of illegalist actions. There were myths about socialists
launching and distributing manifests in illegality. Later, during communism,
one of the ways to criticize and resist the system was to throw manifests.
We decided now in capitalism to do this action in the context of this utopian
architecture complex.
